When we started this project, we assumed that the same PDF file would print the same way on different printers. Wrong.
You may need to mess around with the margins in the properties file to get the labels to print properly on your printer. The sample properties file includes settings that we have used for the two most common label sizes: 1" by 2 5/8" and 1" by 4".
This is really a trial and error process. You generate the PDF file, print one sheet (on regular paper), and then compare the printout to the label stock. If it doesn't match up, then change the properties file, and try again.
When you find a match, it's a good idea to print the first page only on to the label stock just to make sure. If that looks good, then you can safely print the entire file.
If you email us your margin settings, along with the name of the printer and your operating system, we will add them to the sample properties file for the next release.
